A new system and digital strategy enabling Office Team to optimise their internal user and external customer experience.


The Brief

Office Team is the leading name in office supplies and needed a system and website that could scale with them. Their current platform was confusing and due to the high amount of departments needed some attention in order to stream line the processes.

This was a massive undertaking for which I worked with the Lead UX Designer at Rawnet. The site needed a complete user experience overhaul in order to get the ordering processes and basket systems working seamlessly.

The Work

The design of the site overall is minimal, keeping everything clean and simple so that all of the relevant information is accessible to the user. This was not a creative task but a logical one. The majority of the work lay within the processes and the journey for the user. There were a few moving parts in that we needed the journeys to work both for the clients of OT that had accounts, but also for the internal users of OT who manage the client accounts. the previous site was not mobile or tablet friendly and so a structured grid was implemented so the experience had the same feel no matter what device the user was on.

The Result

This was the largest scale undertaking of my career, the project almost taking a year in completion. It was a great learning experience regarding UX. The site now does what it set out to do, which is to enhance the user experience and make the journey of ordering stationary and supplies as easy as possible.
